    新加坡的老人 (draft no good)

      经常在网上看到网友提到小贩中心里很多白发苍苍身形佝偻的老人在收拾桌子,并为此感到十分不忍。他们延伸想去,是中国退休老人的境遇要好的多,哪还有去工作的?每月有退休金拿着,每天去公园打个太极下个棋什么的。所以由此认为新加坡的老人都晚境凄凉,政府在这方面的福利有瑕疵,从而打算并不要在新加坡养老还是回国去的好。持有这想法的人大有人在,其实这是不公平和片面的看法。
     
      那些拥有悠闲的退休生活的,大部分是城市的市民,别忘了,中国有10亿的农民,他们年老以后的境遇是怎样的呢?恐怕他们的子女要么在田间务农,要么在城市打工,为家里年幼的孩子赚钱读书的当儿,并没有那么多闲情逸致到网上去替自己的父母辛酸落泪。曾经去过农村看望过一个关系比较远的亲戚奶奶,她已经80多岁了,从自己黑黑的屋子里出来,岁月的艰辛在她脸上一览无余。她高兴的握着我的手,我心里却十分难过。我们这亲戚所在的农村在中国还算富裕,而且我知道她们家儿孙还是孝顺的。但是我想象不来她平时有什么娱乐。除了帮着家里干点力所能及的活儿,她平时在屋子里干嘛?发呆还是看电视?如果是不孝顺的子女,真是难以想象。当然中国现在也在完善各种福利,包括农村的医疗保险,但是要说这些老人比新加坡那些端盘子洗碗的老人好到哪里去,我还真看不出来。
     就算是有退休金可以拿的城市老人,在家里也是寂寞的。我父母都退休很多年了,问起她们,还说,工作那时候多好!我有点奇怪,现在不工作,政府还给退休金,不是更好吗?我妈摆摆手,那可不一样。工作的人看闲散的人是幸福的,闲散的人看工作的人也是幸福的。能工作,证明自己还年轻。
     
      岛国天热,比较闲的老人通常不会选择去运动锻炼,而是去打牌赌钱买马票买多多,所以政府才会在给这些老人多种津贴的同时,把CPF的钱帮他们看牢一点。这不仅同自己本身的身份背景有关,也跟社会时代的背景有关,跟国情有关。有些老人在家里闲不住,又想赚点家用,当然就会出来再做点事情。在自己的有生之年还能做贡献,本身对自己也是一种肯定。
     
     工作,并快乐着。
